At this time
United-As-One
We will honor our country
by taking part in a
Patriotic Program:
“A SALUTE TO THE GREATEST
NATION IN THE WORLD, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”
My name is Petty Officer
Jim Cava, United States Navy Retired
I am a combat decorated
veteran who served our country proudly
As a corpsman, a medic,
with the 5th Marines in the Vietnam War
As founder of Operation
Red, White and Blue
I continue to serve our
country proudly
By Fostering and Upholding
OUR AMERICAN HERITAGE,
PRINCIPLES AND PATRIOTISM
FOR OUR CREATOR AND COUNTRY
My fellow
Americans
Today is a special day
because today you will learn:
Why our country
The United States of
America is great!
And why you are great!
To begin our patriotic
program, please stand for our National Anthem
Because some of you feel
embarrassed
Because some of you feel
self-conscious
And because some of you
just don't know the words
I will lead you in the
recitation of our
National Anthem
And there is no law that
says we cannot recite the words to our National Anthem
Everyone, please look at
our flag and place your hands on your
hearts?
United-As-One
Let us recite
THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER
Please repeat after me!
THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER
Oh, say can you see
By the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed
At the twilight's last
gleaming
Whose broad stripes and bright stars
Through the perilous fight,
Over the ramparts we watched
Were so gallantly
streaming
And the rocket's red glare
The bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night
That our flag was still
there
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner
Yet wave
Over the land of the free
And the home of the brave
That was great!
Give yourselves a big
heartfelt round of
applause!
